Sales Associate

Sales Associates are responsible for helping our customers find the products they want by demonstrating great product knowledge and customer service. Additionally, the Associate will assist with maintaining store appearance by arranging merchandise, verifying price tags, tracking inventory, and organizing displays.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a positive attitude towards customers and coworkers.

• Coordinates with coworkers by ensuring all customers have been helped, splitting sales when appropriate, and communicating about items to be displayed, transferred, repaired, etc.

• Learns and applies selling techniques by explaining features and benefits of products.

• Achieves acceptable sales goals including percentages and volume.

• Completes transactions by processing financing paperwork and using bankcard machines.

• Maintains store area by cleaning, dusting, pricing, and arranging product as instructed.

Warehouse Associate

The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for working alongside our teams with organizing merchandise, keeping track of inventory, and maintaining the warehouse in an orderly fashion.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a positive attitude towards customers and coworkers.

• Answers correspondence such as emails in a courteous manner.

• Collaborates with coworkers to meet department goals and daily operations.

• Assists with loading, unloading, prepping, and pulling merchandise for deliveries and transfers.

• Ensures warehouse area is cleaned, organized, free of all trash and recyclables, and any tools or equipment are put away when not in use.

• Moves furniture and other merchandise by hand or with the assistance of equipment.

• Assembles merchandise as needed.

Delivery Driver

The Delivery Driver will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles to pick up, drop off and transport merchandise as needed between our locations as well as to and from customers’ homes.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a positive attitude towards customers and coworkers.

• Interacts with customers in a professional manner and provides exceptional customer service.

• Listens to customers questions and concerns.

• Collaborates with coworkers to meet customer satisfaction.

• Informs supervisor of any challenges or complicated tasks.

• Communicates any delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situation to supervisor.

• Operates company vehicle in accordance with company policy and abides by all traffic laws.

• Verifies the contents of inventory loads against paperwork before transferring items.

• Utilizes protective devices such as padding, bracing, or strapping to prevent shifting of merchandise being delivered, transported, or stored.

Furniture Repair Technician

The Furniture Repair Technician will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing furniture by utilizing various equipment and tools. Additionally, the Technician will ensure customer satisfaction by verifying all merchandise is operational and presentable.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a positive attitude towards customers and coworkers.

• Answers telephones and radio calls in a courteous manner.

• Listens to customers to determine restoration or repairs needs and meets expected timeline of service completion.

• Collaborates with supervisor and other departments on projects or complicated repairs.

• Examines merchandise and furniture to determine type of material, extent of deterioration or damage and plan of restoration or needed repairs.

• Performs various restoration tasks: painting, staining, removing solvent, treating surfaces, and mixing ingredients.

• Safely operates variety of shop equipment and tools to fabricate, repair, reinforce, and replace parts of merchandise or furniture.

• Ensures customer expectations are met with repairs by testing and verifying safety standards.

• Ensures shop area is cleaned, organized, free of all trash, and any tools or equipment are put away when not in use.

• General knowledge of basic tools is required.

• Prior experience in any one or all the following areas is a plus: wood repairs including burn-ins & wood graining, color matching and blending, leather repairs including scuffs/holes/tears, upholstery repairs, or structural/mechanism repairs.

• Must be able to lift/carry/push/pull of objects up to 75 pounds, and with the help of equipment and assistance maneuver heavier merchandise.


Customer Service Coordinator/Specialist

The Customer Service Coordinator will be responsible for guaranteeing customer satisfaction by processing orders, answering questions, following up with concerns, and verifying products are scheduled accurately for deliveries.

Responsibilities

Accessory Specialist

The Accessory Specialist will be responsible for positively contributing to the arrangement of furniture, backdrops, and other accessories within the stores. Additionally, the Specialist will ensure the sales floor presentations are within the expectation of our store display guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a positive attitude towards customers and coworkers.

• Coordinates with the Store Manager and Accessory Manager to determine appropriate placement of displays and products.

• Maintains inventory control measures through proper procedures like transfers, write outs, returns, damages, display, and signage.

• Unpacks and assembles accessory items.

• Verifies all married product and brands are grouped together and displayed properly.

• Understands how to display items safely such as pictures, mirrors, lamps, and other heavy items.

• Ability to safely utilize general shop equipment including but not limited to hand drills, hammers, ladders, and hand carts.

• Assists with occasional painting projects and floor resets.

• Provides light housekeeping assistance by cleaning, dusting, pricing, and arranging product.

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for ensuring accounts are current and accurate in addition to using specialized software, spreadsheets, and other tools to track and manage data.

Responsibilities

• Maintains confidentiality of company records and documentation.

• Effectively utilizes bookkeeping software, spreadsheets, and databases to complete tasks.

• Checks for accuracy in figures, postings, and reports.

The Receptionist will be responsible for providing high-quality customer service and administrative support such as welcoming and directing our customers, answering phone calls, and assisting with the day-to-day functions of the store.

Responsibilities

• Receives and records payment receipts for goods and services.

• Performs administrative support tasks, such as operating computers to work with payment records, customer invoices and other documents.

• Transmit information or documents to customers, using computer and physical mail.
